Elite Youth have planted an ever growing seed in the heart of Tower Hamlets, the football in the Community project. Since it came into existence the FITC project has been a major catalyst for local children and young people receiving quality football coaching in estates and schools as well as the opportunity to play competitive football and gain accredited qualifications.
Elite Youth have proven that they can reach out to venerable, hard to reach children and young people from the BAME group and deliver a high quality professional service that meets the needs of the community living in Tower Hamlets. Elite Youth are a trusted local grass roots organisation and its unique culturally sensitive approach has been a welcome by service users.
Elite Youth also have a proven track record in organising and delivering large scale community events, which has seen up to six thousand people attend the Tower Hamlets Community Cup and up to five hundred young people participating in the Kick it Out Campaign. Over the three years we have developed some excellent partnerships at all different levels, this again shows the capacity Elite Youth have in delivering on different levels.
One of Elite Youth’s major strength is its dedicated workforce who has great local knowledge; their commitment to providing quality service for local people is of the highest. Our staff retention allows us to continually develop and deliver.
The FITC project has enabled Elite Youth to provide an increase in sustainability for locals as well as aspiring young coaches. The project has seen a massive increase in service users and has provided these locals with access and participation for many three years ago would not have been possible.
Elite Youth’s Football in the Community project is a shining example of what can be achieved through football and assist in the developments of communities.
